Cautus Geo is growing. The office in Western Norway will be strengthened.

- "We're growing and will further strengthen our position in Western Norway," says Kim Lindmark.
Cautus Geo has had a local office in Bergen since autumn 2022. Now the office is being strengthened.
- "Bergen and Western Norway is a strategic choice. The area has a high level of activity in construction and infrastructure, especially related to harbours, tunnels and geotechnical projects," says Lindmark. He is close to the market as the company's sales manager.
Geomonitoring
Cautus Geo specialises in geomonitoring. This involves automatic monitoring and alerting of natural hazards, the environment and climate, building and construction, transport and structures.
The company is one of Europe's leading technology companies in automatic monitoring of structures, land, water, climate and the environment and has developed a wide range of proprietary sensor technology and the Cautus Web data management system.
- "Our strategy is all about growth. Strengthening the office in Bergen is part of that strategy," says Lindmark.
High and low
Cautus Geo has instrumented some of our highest mountains, such as Mannen. This is about natural hazards, but Cautus Geo works across a very broad spectrum. It's about gathering reliable knowledge using technology that can continuously monitor mountain massifs, railway tracks, other structures, pore pressure, water levels and various sound and pollution environments.
- We are now seeing broad-based growth. It is spread across all areas, including geographically. We will therefore be adding more resources to our head office at Lysaker," says Lindmark.
Great variation
Now he's looking for a new colleague who wants great variety in their working day.
- Our working days are varied. Technologically-minded problem solvers with a geoscientific education who thrive on customer contact, and who like the idea of a working day with a range that includes construction pits, mountains and the sea, as well as traditional office work with a screen, can find their dream job with us," says Lindmark.
