Metrology consultancy and development
Our employees have professional expertise in a wide range of geosciences, measurement systems and IT and can provide advice on a variety of projects.
We are developing our own web solution for data management and alerting, Cautus Web, which incorporates all relevant sensor types. Cautus Web presents data in a user-friendly way, well adapted to the requirements of end customers.
We aim to be one of Europe's leading technology companies in automatic monitoring of structures, land, water, climate and the environment. Since 2009, we have developed a wide range of new technology and solutions. Through our own development projects and co-operation with leading technology partners, we will be at the forefront of smart solutions for our customers.
Examples
- IoT - the Internet of Thing - is central to us and has been since our inception in 2009. The Cautus Web data management system started as the Munin computer programme in 2010 - developed for monitoring Åkneset.
- In 2013 we launched our first avalanche radar. In 2014, we launched our own pore pressure gauge and sensor for monitoring catch nets. Then came the CL1 data logger and the start-up of a water measurement system for pesticides.
- In 2018, our international research and development work to measure pesticides received EU funding of EUR 1.9 million through the 2020-Horizon programme's Fast Track to Innovation. The aim is to ensure the EU has clean drinking water through continuous and automatic monitoring of drinking water.
- We have developed several different data loggers that are currently in use in a number of different projects around the Nordic region.
- We have developed systems for monitoring and warning of rockfalls and avalanches.
