Biologist Johan Bjerg (31) comes with a research background. He will have particular responsibility for water and the environment - "Johan is a strong professional and strengthens us on the environmental side," says CEO Atle Gerhardsen.
Johan Bjerg has several years of experience from the world of research in biology and biotechnology at the University of Tromsø, where he worked with advanced laboratory equipment, experimental projects and fieldwork in northern Norwegian waters.
He has also worked in an early-phase start-up at the Research Park, including prototype development of photobioreactors and CCU (carbon capture and utilisation) technologies for utilising CO₂ in water purification processes such as nitrogen over-fertilisation.

Educated at the University of Tromsø, Johan will be combining his research experience with practical customer cases and follow-up in the field.
