Automatic vibration measurement in construction projects involves the use of sensors and measurements to continuously monitor vibration on and around construction sites. The ISO 4866:2010 standard provides guidelines for vibration measurement in the construction industry. This standard describes methods for measuring and evaluating vibration exposure in relation to building structures and the surrounding environment. The purpose is to set limits for permissible vibration in order to minimise the risk of damage to surrounding buildings and facilities.
