Product overview

Pore pressure is a crucial factor in the discipline of geotechnical engineering, and changes in pore pressure can often have a major effect on settlement and stability in different soils and rocks. Short- and long-term changes in pore pressure will therefore be necessary to monitor in construction projects that include

dams, tunnels, embankments, excavations or other situations where pore pressure and groundwater levels may be affected by the development. Cautus Geo delivers cost-effective, automated total solutions for pore pressure monitoring using piezometers with vibrating wire (VW) technology. Measurement data is transferred in real time to Cautus Web, where the customer has a full overview of all measurement data with the option of notification and alarm by email or SMS if unwanted variations in pore pressure occur.
