Product overview

A load cell is a sensor that automatically monitors the forces applied to a structure or element. Set up with our loggers, they can display real-time data on loads and stresses that occur on structures during construction work. The load cells can be used to ensure safety, assess structural condition and optimise the construction process.

By continuously measuring loads on critical components such as beams, braces and columns, load cells contribute to structural health monitoring, alerting the project to changes or deviations that may indicate problems. This data is automatically logged and analysed, enabling decisions to be made based on factual knowledge.

The choice of load cell type depends on the complexity of the project and is normally supplied with one of our CL data loggers. Data is available in Cautus Web.
