Mathias started his job at Cautus Geo in March 2025. He has recent experience from his position as a project engineer at Veidekke.

Cautus Geo specialises in geomonitoring. This involves automatic monitoring and alerting of natural hazards, the environment and climate, building and construction, transport and structures.

- "We're delighted to have Mathias on the team. He brings new impulses and combines solid expertise in geology with experience from the construction industry. He will strengthen our field department," says CEO Atle Gerhardsen.

Management

Cautus Geo is one of Europe's leading technology companies in automatic monitoring of structures, land, water, climate and the environment. The company has developed a wide range of sensor technology and a proprietary web solution, Cautus Web, for automatic and continuous collection, processing, analysis and notification based on data from various sources.

Mathias joins the field department. This means great variety in his working days. He will contribute to the design and establishment of solutions for monitoring natural hazards, ground conditions, construction, water and the environment.

In growth

Cautus Geo has grown continuously since its inception in 2009. It started with natural hazard monitoring. The company is a leader in its field in the development of innovative technology. Automated solutions send data in real time to Cautus Web. Most often set up with an alarm if set limit values are breached.

- Here, I can contribute to making the world a safer place by supplying automatic meters. In addition, I get to use my knowledge from my geology studies and my experience from field work in the construction industry. I'm looking forward to that," says Mathias.
