Rock blasting SVV
Due to poor stability in a large rock formation at Deildo in Hardanger, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration decided to blast out and remove the particularly vulnerable section along the Rv13 motorway.
The salvo of approximately 15,000 cubic metres was blasted early in the morning of 17 October, and Cautus Geo captured the event on film with our high-resolution camera system deployed at the site. Cautus Geo also supplied various types of instrumentation to measure the stability of the rock before and after blasting.
