Natural hazard
Since its inception in 2009, Cautus Geo has been involved in monitoring some of Europe's largest monitoring solutions for large landslides.
Today, we are a leading player in monitoring natural hazards such as avalanches, rockfalls, large rockslides and unstable land areas.
Cautus Geo has developed unique technology and solutions for monitoring, for example, avalanches and rockfalls. This technology is currently being used to increase the safety of road users in a number of different projects around Europe.
We divide natural hazards into four different areas.
- Large rockslides
- Snow avalanches
- Rockfall
- Unstable land area
As part of our natural hazards solutions, we also have various methods for general mapping and analysis of different areas. This can often be a useful approach at an early stage, to identify areas of interest and to better determine the location and scope of real-time monitoring solutions.
